The Study Of The Atypical "Lian XP" Constructional Sentence

The "lian" clauses express its anti-expectation emphasis by using the "lian" to index the low end of the scale of probability.Unlike the typical "lian" clauses,the composition after "lian" is not at the low end of the scale of probability in the atypical "lian" clause,which is the uniqueness of the atypical "lian" clauses,and has become the focus of this study.This article believes that the atypical "lian" clauses are formed on the basis of typical "lian" clauses."lian" does not emphasize the following individual components,but the entire verb phrase including the verbs after "dou,ye".This article stands in the perspective of construction,and contrasts with the typical "lian" clauses,from the aspects of the formation of the construction,the integration of the construction,the coercion of the construction,and the pending construction based on The Mental Corpus Theory,etc.,it systematically and in detail explains how atypical “lian XP” constructional sentence are produced.The atypical "lian" clause is regarded as a more typical construction sentence because of its more distinctive features such as "difficult to decompose","unpredictability" and "overall storage".In the introduction to the Theory of the Mental Corpus,the nature of language is reconsidered and the construction is the basic unit of linguistic representation.In the interpretation of constructional integration and pending construction,the construction is analyzed internally,and the methodological value of the construction is fully demonstrated.The article is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction.It introduces famous scholars’ research status and limitations of atypical "lian" clauses,as well as the research methods and contents of this article.The sixth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research contents of the full text and points out the innovation and deficiencies of the research.The main body of the article is the second to the fifth part,that is,the first chapter to the fourth chapter.The first chapter introduces the connotation and extension of the "lian" clauses,and analyzes the subjective expression function of the "lian" clauses.It also points out that the special feature of the atypical "lian" clause is that the composition after the "lian" is not at the low end of the scale of probability.The second chapter is the core of the dissertation,and analyzes the formation of atypical "lian" clauses from the perspective of construction.It is considered that the atypical "lian" clause is the prototype of typical "lian" clause,and on the basis of the typical "lian" clause,and gradually solidifies into a new construction;in the third chapter,from the perspective of the Theory of The Mental Corpus,the "lian" clause is regarded as a pending construction and analyzed;The four chapters do some of the thinking,based on The Construction Grammar Theory through the full text,in order to expect that with the development of language and the advance of grammar research,it can get a more scientific and perfect explanation.
