Evolutionism has a decisive role in the modern Chinese intellectual history,social history,and cultural history,and it also has a crucial impact on Chinese modern aesthetics.However,according to the current research status of domestic scholars,the research priorities of scholars in the field of humanities and social sciences is the influence of evolution in sociology and history,and this issue has not been fully studied in the field of aesthetics.Therefore,this article focuses on the theory of evolutionary theory in Chinese modern aesthetics.It summarizes the thoughts of Cai Yuanpei,Liang Qichao,Zong Baihua and other important aestheticians.Summarizes the ideology and narrative logic of evolutionary consciousness in Chinese modern aesthetics,and objectively evaluate the ideological function and theoretical significance of the theory of evolution in the creation of Chinese modern aesthetics.It is hoped that by reviewing the evolutionary thoughts in Chinese modern aesthetics,to provide some new ideas for contemporary Chinese aesthetics research.The thesis is divided into six parts.The introduction mainly introduces and summarizes the topics.The first chapter introduces the basic concepts of evolution and its spreading process in China.The second,third,and fourth chapters are separately based on Liang Qichao and Cai Yuanpei and Zong Baihua's example to analyzes the impact of evolutionism on his aesthetic thoughts.The second chapter mainly discusses the source of Liang Qichao's evolutionism and the transformation of his aesthetic concepts under the influence of evolutionism.It mainly discusses the influence of the evolutionism on Cai Yuanpei's idea of "Aesthetic Education as Substitute for Religion";The fourth chapter mainly discusses that evolutionism can be found in Zong Baihua's thoughts and shows the influence of Bergson's creative evolution on Zong Baihua;The last chapter comprehensively discusses the positive and negative effects of evolutionism in modern Chinese aesthetics,as well as its reflection and evaluation.In the end,this article concludes that evolutionism is animportant factor and theoretical basis of Chinese modern aesthetics.It promotes social and cultural changes,and it also affected the discourse generation of Chinese modern aesthetics.Besides,the basic logic and content of Chinese modern aesthetics is based on evolutionism.
