Study On The Posthumous Epithets Rule Of Giving The Emperors And Queens In The Chin Dynasty

There is no posthumous rule in the Jurchen tradition.The Chin dynasty studied Tang and Song dynasty established the posthumous rule system,and integrated it into the understanding of themself.The emperors and queens’ posthumous epithets are not just a simple epithets.Through research,we can find that the addition or deprivation of emperor posthumous epithets reflects the changes in the political situation at that time and the attitude of the rulers of the Chin Dynasty towards Confucianism.Through the use of the posthumous epithets,we can also see the society’s expectations of the empress’ s morality at that time.The Chin dynasty’s study and use of the Central Plains rule system became a tool for maintaining the rule of the dynasty and showing the imperial power.This article mainly includes four parts: The first part discusses the procedures for the emperor and queen of the Chin Dynasty to obtain the posthumous epithets.The emperor and the emperor of the Chin Dynasty had basically the same posthumous procedures.First,the emperor issued a posthumous post,officials negotiated posthumously,the relevant officials wrote posthumous comments,posthumous text,and posthumous treasure,and then played the ceremonies.The second part discusses the etiquette of the emperor and queen of Chin Dynasty to get posthumous epithets.It mainly includes playing the ceremonies of inform imperial ancestral temple and offering the posthumous text and posthumous treasure,the etiquette of offering the posthumous text and posthumous treasure changed during the Dading years.The third part analyzes the situation of emperors and queens of the Chin Dynasty with clues of buryingposthumous epithets,chasing,adding posthumous epithets,taking and changing posthumous epithets.The emperor’s posthumous epithets system of the Chin Dynasty started in Taizong,developed and perfected in xizong,and was quite mature by the time of shizong.The peak period of adding posthumous epithets and posthumous epithets in the Chin Dynasty was in the xizong dynasty.When they arrived in Hailing and shizong,they also added “right names” to their rule by adding and robbing them.It can be seen that the use of the emperor and queen posthumous epithets has become more mature and has become a political tool.The fourth part is the words of posthumous epithets of the emperor and queen of the Chin Dynasty.The number of characters of the emperor’s posthumous epithets has gone from less to more,and the words used in the posthumous epithets are all praises.The number of Queen’s posthumous characters is basically stable at two words,and the words used in posthumous epithets are all praises for the Queen’s character.
