Narrative Study On The Documentary Of "Liu Xiaoping’s Story Of Liaoning University"

The oral documentary"Liu Xiaoping’s Story of Liaoning University"focuses on the narrator,Liu Xiaoping,who is the manager of the photography agency of Liaoning University.Through the details of his narration of life in Liaoning University,this documentary shows the glorious history and spirit of Liaoning University.In this thesis,I take"Liu Xiaoping’s Story of Liaoning University"as an example to study the narrative method of oral documentary thoroughly.The 1^st chapter of this thesis introduces the oral documentary and its characteristics,explains the purpose and significance of my graduation work"Liu Xiaoping’s Liaoning Story",and illustrates the reason for choosing oral documentary and Liu Xiaoping.The 2^nd chapter comprehensive analyzes the narrative method of oral documentary from following dimensions:narrative structure,narrative perspective,narrative time and space,narrative rhythm and narrative language.The 3^rd part summarizes some practical experiences from two aspects:artistry and authenticity.Lastly,I hope that my study and thesis can provide some valuable practical and theoretical experience.
