A Study On The Sentence Pattern Of "Napa P Ye Q"

some progress has been made in the research of concession conjunctions all the time,but there is still an imbalance in its internal research.For the typical members of concession conjunctions,"Jishi" has the most adequate research,while "Napa","Jiusuan" and so on have relatively few,which provides a relatively broad space for this article.Therefore,this article takes the "Napa P ye Q" sentence pattern as the research object,and uses the BCC and CCL corpora as the corpus source to study this sentence pattern.Under the guidance of the theory of complex sentence three-point theory,a combination of description,comparison,and interpretation is adopted.The analysis method examines the sentence pattern of "Napa P ye Q" from three perspectives: syntax,semantics and pragmatics.Finally,it reveals the nature and regularity of the sentence pattern of "Napa P ye Q",laying a foundation for the research of concessional sentence patterns.This article consists of six parts.The main chapters are described as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly explains the reasons for choosing the topic,the significance of the research,and a summary of related research.It also explains the theoretical basis,methods,and corpus of the research.The second chapter analyzes syntactically.In addition to complex sentences,the sentence pattern of "Napa P ye Q" can also be a single sentence or a condensed sentence.And the article analyzes the syntax distribution and syntactic components of each type of sentence.The third chapter examines the "Napa P ye Q" sentence pattern from the semantic aspect.According to the problems of the previous classification system,the "Napa P ye Q" pattern is divided into Three types,namely forward restrictive relationship by the different relationship between the clauses before and after the sentence,reversing restrictive relationship and non-restrictive relationship.The semantic description,semantic classification,and analysis of semantic characteristics of each type of relationship are analyzed,and the key role played by related words in the semantics of complex sentences is also analyzed.Due to the complexity of the semantics of "Napa P ye Q",this article also attempts to analyze the reasons that lead to its semantic complexity.The fourth chapter mainly examines the pragmatics of the sentence patterns.It can be divided into these aspects,pragmatic function,presupposition analysis,and research on subjectivity and subjective quantity.In terms of pragmatic functions,this article considers that "Napa P ye Q" has interpersonal and textual functions.Interpersonal function is embodied in the function of emphasis and subjective evaluation;discourse function is embodied in the continuity of the turn and semantic coherence.In the pre-analysis,a magnitude analysis model was used to analyze the difference between the information amount of the "Napa P ye Q" sentence pattern and the pre-determined information amount in the three types of semantics.In terms of subjective performance,the subjectiveness is studied in three aspects: the speaker's perspective,the speaker's emotion,and the speaker's cognition.It is found that the sentence pattern of "Napa P ye Q" is strongly subjective.In terms of subjective quantity,we analyze the relationship between the subjective quantity of the sentence pattern and its willingness.The fifth chapter makes a comparative study on the sentence pattern of "Napa P ye Q" and other transitional sentence patterns,selects the typical representative of concession sentence "Jishi P ye Q",and mainly compares them in the following three situations.It can only be used when "Jishi" cannot be used,"Napa" is not used,and "Napa" and "Jishi" are replaced with each other(semantic change,semantically unchanged replacement).The contrast also clarifies the particularity of "Napa P ye Q" sentence pattern in use,and lays the foundation for the correct use of the two types of sentence pattern.The sixth chapter is the conclusion.First summarize the full text,and then point out the innovations and deficiencies of this article.
