The Development Process And Artistic Characteristics Of Paso Doble

As one of the ten dance types of sports dance,Paso Doble has a history of more than one hundred years and has developed into a dance with unique charm by virtue of its unique culture.Since sports dance entered China,it has developed rapidly in China.Now,the level of domestic sports dance has been among the top in the world.However,Chinese athletes are still far behind foreign competitors in the grasp of Paso Doble,and they are not flexible in the application of bullfighting in sports dance performance.It is helpful for Chinese dancers to understand the intrinsic nature of Paso Doble and to provide effective reference for improving the competitive level and artistic application level of domestic Paso Doble.In this paper,the formation of Paso Doble and its development at home and abroad are sorted out and integrated by means of literature review,video analysis and comparative study.Its unique artistic characteristics are studied and analyzed.The research shows that :(1)This paper combs and integrates the origin and development of Paso Doble,and summarizes the detailed development of Paso Doble from its origin to the present.(2)According to the development of sports dance in China,the development of domestic bullfighting dance is divided into three stages: germination,improvement of competitive level,and diversified development.With the popularization of sports dance and the increase of people’s demand,bullfighting shows a trend of popularization;The level of competition is constantly improving.Excellent domestic players have made great achievements in the world’s top competitions.In the dancescape art performance dance works,the use of the Paso Doble works are increasing.(3)Paso Doble shows unique characteristics in art.Its sonorous and powerful music,bold and smooth movements and magnificent performance style give audiences different audio-visual feelings.(4)According to the deficiencies in the development of Paso Doble in China,this paper puts forward some development countermeasures,such as strengthening the attention of athletes to the Paso Doble competition,learning relevant culture of Paso Doble,improving artistic and cultural cultivation,and strengthening publicity of Paso Doble,so as to promote the better development of Paso Doble in China.
