| In the large vocabulary of each language,the number of words that represent spatial locations is small.But this vocabulary is very basic,so it is very important to study the semantic features of this part of speech for mastering the use of language.The location language of modern Chinese localizers is very important to help us determine the direction and position we need.The Chinese direction words include:"shang(上),xia(下),qian(前),hou(后),zuo(左),you(右),nei(内),wai(外),li(里),zhong(中),jian(间),pang(间),dong(东),xi(西),nan(南),bei(北)" and so on.Among them,the modern Chinese orientation words"Qian(前)," and "Hou(后)" are a pair of basic words that we use very frequently in daily use.They are also the words that foreign students are not easy to accurately grasp in the process of learning Chinese.This paper selects the representative of position word"Qian(前)""Hou(后)" as the object of study,investigates the entries of "Qian(前)" and "Hou(后)" in "Modern Chinese Dictionary "(7th edition)and " Chinese Idiom Dictionary ",and then analyses the cases of Vietnamese students using "Qian(前)" and”Hou(后)" in order to provide some learning references for foreign students and help them better grasp the usage of "Qian(前)" and "Hou(后)" in modern Chinese. |
