Corrective feedback is a crucial part of English writing teaching in senior high school,for it plays an important role in improving students' English writing ability.Teachers spend a lot of time on corrective feedback,but they reap little.With the development of modern network technology,Automated Essay Scoring(AES)systems have emerged.The widely accepted AES system in China is the Juku Correcting Network.Meanwhile,both the National Outline for Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development(2010 to 2020)and the English Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools clearly proposed that education be combined with modern technology.Therefore,this paper is intended to study the corrective feedback about English writing based on the Juku Correcting Network in Senior high school.Based on the theories of Interactive Hypothesis,Noticing Hypothesis and Input-output Hypothesis,this paper takes two parallel classes in senior two from Xiang'an No.1 High School of Xiamen as subjects.By means of empirical research,it aims to answer the following three questions: 1)Compared with the teacher's written corrective feedback,can the corrective feedback based on the Juku Correcting Network have a more positive impact on senior high school students' language output competence in English writing? 2)For senior high school students of different English proficiency,are the focuses of corrective feedback of the Juku Correcting Network the same as those of the teacher's written corrective feedback? 3)How do senior high school students of different English proficiency evaluate the corrective feedback of the Juku Correcting Network?Research results show that: 1)Compared with the teacher's written corrective feedback,the corrective feedback based on the Juku Correcting Network can have a more positive impact on senior high school students' language output competence in English writing,which is mainly reflected in the improvement of writing achievements and writing accuracy,complexity and fluency.2)For senior high school students of different English proficiency,the focuses of corrective feedback of Juku Correcting Network are different from those of the teacher's written corrective feedback.3)High school students of different English proficiency have different evaluations on corrective feedback of the Juku Correcting Network.The results of the study provide reference for the efficient useof the Juku Correcting Network on corrective feedback in senior high school English writing.
