Research On Girl Scout Education In The Republic Of China

Girl Guides and Girl Scouts is the largest youth female education group in China during the Republic of China.It was first founded by Shanghai Cangsheng Wise Girls 'High School.From 1919 to 1949,Girl Scout education during the Republic of China went through a total of 30 years and experienced two major stages of development in the development process.During the Beiyang government,there was no unified leadership agency for Boy Scouts throughout the country,and the Central Government did not interfere with Boy Scouts education.Therefore,the situation of Scout handling in various places is different,and no unified organizational system and management methods have been formed.The National scout education has shown the characteristics of autonomy and decentralization,and the political color is weak.During the period of the Nanjing National Government,the Kuomintang unified the education of the Boy Scouts.Not only did it set up a national leadership agency and formulate various organizational regulations,but also stipulated that junior high schools must implement Boy Scouts education.In the process of Boy Scout Party,this kind of education has the characteristics of mandatory and systematic,and the political color has been greatly strengthened.Although Girl Scouts did not have an independent leadership agency during the 30 years of development,they gradually had an independent Girl Guides Corps,a separate registration system,exclusive uniforms and gender-specific curriculum content.By participating in various outdoor activities and engaging in various social services,women and children have improved their physical quality and cultivated their own sense of independence and service spirit.Through the exchanges with Girl Scouts from all over the world,they have opened up their horizons and established a deep friendship between girl scouts.Girl Scout education has gradually freed women from the shackles of traditional society.They have begun to get out of the family and see themselves as part of the country and assume the dual responsibilities entrusted to them by the family and society.At that time,Girl Scout education made up for the shortcomings of school education,family education,and social education,and promoted the liberation movement of modern women;In modern times,Girl Scout education contains moral education first,student-oriented,practical teaching ideas and independent exploration,group cooperation teaching methods are also of reference for the implementation of quality education in primary and secondary schools today.
