As one of the pioneers of the new cultural movement and the founder of the Chinese revolutionary literature and art,Mao Dun has always been the focus and hotspot of literary and historical studies.For many years,the academic research on Mao Dun in the literary world has been fruitful,but the academic research on Mao Dun's literary achievements mostly belongs to the category of cultural history.Relatively speaking,the academic circles have relatively little research on Mao Dun's daily life,especially the life study of Mao Dun in his later years after the founding of the People's Republic of China.Therefore,this article focuses on the daily life of Mao Dun in his later years.The period of research began from the 1960 s until Mao Dun died in 1981.Through the analysis of Mao Dun's physical condition,family life,cultural life and political life in his later years,he hopes to discover the impact of social and political environment on Mao Dun's daily life in his later years.Starting from Mao Dun's diary and take Mao Dun's diary as the main body of research,conduct a comprehensive investigation of thought,culture,society and politics,study the daily life of Mao Dun in his later years,and interpret the personal life situation of Mao Dun hidden in Mao Dian's diary in his later years.Social and ecological changes,research Mao Dun from a new perspective.Through the study of Mao Dun's later life,it can be found that during the 1960 s and 1970 s until the death of Mao Dun,the social and political environment in which Mao Dun was located had a tremendous impact on Mao Dun including physical and psychological factors,especially Mao Dun's thoughts in his later years.Many changes,these changes reflect the contradiction between how intellectuals can protect themselves and maintain their sense of social responsibility in a complex political environment in the context of special times.
