Simultaneous interpretation,as an important branch of interpretation, occupies a very prominent position in international communication. From the perspective of pragmatic theory, this paper makes a multi-level study of Chinese-English simultaneous interpretation. On the basis of previous studies on pragmatic translation, the author tries to explore the application of pragmatic theory in interpretation studies, mainly in Chinese-English simultaneous interpretation,by taking Premier Li Keqiang?s speeches as examples.Through many studies, the thesis finds that in the whole process of interpretation activity, whether it is the release of the original text, the content extraction after understanding,or the re-expression in another language, pragmatic theories are more or less play a normative role in which.Speech Act Theory and Indirect Speech Act Theory guide the interpreter to understand not only the source text, but also the speaker?s intention and the effect on the listener.Relevance Theory,in the case of cultural differences between the speaker and the audience, deduces the speaker?s communicative intention, and translates in a way that is in line with the target audience?s linguistic thinking or cultural background,it makes the audience find the relevant content in the target language, thus reducing the burden of their understanding. The Cooperative Principle and Politeness Principle contain different maxims, which provide a clear point of entry for the re-expression after the source language understanding of interpreting activities,so that the target audience to achieve language efficiency and the interpreter to achieve the greatest degree of agreement. In the process of simultaneous interpretation between Chinese and English, the comprehensive application and consideration of Speech Act Theory and Indirect Speech Act Theory,Relevance Theory,Cooperation Principle and Politeness Principle is the key to guarantee the quality of interpretation. The concrete application of pragmatic principles can effectively guide the practice of interpretation and provide theoretical support for practical disciplines such as interpretation.
