The Music Composition And The Performance Skill Of Accordion Chamber Music "Escualo"

The recent appreciation for Piazzolla and his music has brought them to stage frequently throughout the world,among which “Escualo” is one of the most distinguished and appreciated music.“Escualo” is a Tango Chamber Music by Piazzolla.It is played by a variety of instruments such as accordion and others and the style is Piazzolla's classic tango.Through practice and rehearsal,the author has obtained deeper comprehension over this work.Thus,this paper is presented in order to appreciate this music with music theory.This paper consists of three sections.The first section provides a brief introduction over the musical background and the musical of “Escualo”,introduces the accordion chamber music from the macroscopic view.The second section analyzes the elements of the tango and the composition of the music.The third section is how to play the music,which has been divided into four components,including analysis of performance techniques,control over the musical style,the accordance of each parts and the experience of the practice.Based on the analysis of “Escualo”,this paper discusses the music background and the form,the composition of the music and performance techniques.According to the performer own rehearsal and analysis that hope people can see the full“Escualo”.
