The period of the Republic of China was the budding stage of modern Chinese graphic design.The influx of foreign cultures,such as the West,had a great impact on social life at that time.The design field also experienced a transition from traditional to modern.The theme selection and expression form have distinctive characteristics of the times.For example,plant graphics account for a large proportion in the design of the Republic of China.Among them,"golden harvest" has auspicious meanings and symbols in traditional Chinese culture.Graphics with "golden harvest" as the theme have been more popular in the design fields of trademarks,badges,and clothing Universal application,and has influenced the design of many contemporary badges.In view of this,the paper collected a large number of trademarks,badges and other designs with the "golden harvest" graphic in the Republic of China period.Based on the classification,the paper compared the "golden harvest" graphic with the same type and analyzed the design of the graphic The application characteristics of the above,explore the graphic design law and the influence of Western design at that time on the graphic design of "golden harvest".Through the graphic design and application research of "golden harvest" in the Republic of China,we strive to show the cultural origin,aesthetic orientation,spiritual pursuit and political proposition of the trademark design at that time.In order to fill in the gaps and deficiencies of related research in modern Chinese modern graphic design,enrich and improve the case research system of modern Chinese design.
