| Modal adverbs are an important part of modern Chinese research,and because of the great individual differences among its members,they have gradually become the focus of linguists.With the deepening of research,great progress has been made in macro research and micro research,but there is still something worthy of further exploration."Qiaqiao","Zhengqiao","Couqiao" and "Keqiao" all express "coincidental meaning".They are very similar in meaning and usage,not only in dictionaries,but also in alternative use.However,after careful analysis,they are found in many aspects All of them are different and need to be further explored.This paper attempts to reveal the differences and common features of "Qiaqiao","Zhengqiao","Couqiao" and "Keqiao" in semantic,syntactic and pragmatic aspects,so as to provide some reference and suggestions for foreign students’ teaching.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.The second,third and fourth chapters summarize the similarities and differences in semantics,syntax and pragmatics of the four chapters respectively.The last chapter puts forward suggestions for TCFL,as follows:Chapter one: Introduction.Explain the research background and significance of the topic,summarize the research status of modal adverbs,and summarize the research of coincidental modal adverbs.Finally,explain the research methods and corpus sources of this paper.Chapter two: Semantic comparison.First,it lists and sums up the definitions of "Qiaqiao","Zhengqiao","Couqiao" and "Keqiao".Then it compares the semantic features of [coincidence],[subjectivity] and [anticipation] to find out the commonness and analyze the differences of individuality.Chapter three: Syntactic comparison.This paper first compares the similarities and differences of "Qiaqiao","Zhengqiao","Couqiao" and "Keqiao" when they are used as syntactic components,and then investigates the combination of them with the modal adverbs and the modal verbs.Chapter four: Pragmatic comparison.First,we investigate the differences of "Qiaqiao","Zhengqiao","Couqiao" and "Keqiao" in style selection,then summarize their cohesive function,and finally discuss their differences in sentence type selection.Chapter five: Teaching strategies and suggestions for TCFL.Based on the description of the second,the third and the fourth chapters,some suggestions are put forward for textbook compilation and classroom teaching. |
