Cai Dong,a new famous female writer.The novels are based on Shenzhen to describe joys and sorrows and separation of people struggling and fighting in Shenzhen such a metropolis.Meanwhile,there is a Liuzhou,a fictional town,in her novels and people in the town also have their own love affairs.As to Cai Dong,the most obvious factor is the wandering and rooting.Currently,other researchers have conducted more thorough mining and analysis in the struggle of existence,the exploration of human nature,the consciousness of women’s awakening and resistance,the contradiction between men and women’s images,the consciousness of life and death,the comparison between city and spiritual home,and the display of classical elements shown in the novels of Cai Dong;however,it is still not that profound or specific in the details and the relevance of these elements as well as the deeper content research implied by these elements,so they need further elaboration and analysisWandering is one of topics fixed in literature.Wandering means straying in the world and the vast mine.The material poverty and spiritual emptiness as well as the survival,competition,emotional confrontation,dignity in the trivia and machinery of modern life,all of these could attack ambitious young people,which is a cycle from day by day and year by year.Such loneliness and wandering attack them from material to sprite.Therefore,the process of being rooted is dug out by writers.People want to find a world for rest urgently,both physically and psychologically.The wandering and rooting in Cai Dong’s novels can be subdivided into the following three major points,the interrogation of metropolis and small cities,the conflict between male image and female image and the collision between the classic and modern.The paper is divided into three chapters.Chapter one is to begin from big city,Shenzhen,and a small city,Liuzhou.The big city,Shenzhen,is a bustling city where people strive for their business while Liuzhou,a small city,is a home for people and a bay for their mind.These two cities implies that people struggle and expectation to take root in the floating.Chapter two focuses on the image creation of Cai Dong’s novels,which breaks through the fixed image of two genders.The alienation under the heavy pressure of modern life and the process that people are forced to keep adjusting and struggling are described with a new and opposite description.At the same time,to analyze another charm of contradiction brought by the contradictory image of men and women.The third chapter takes the classic elements that appear in Cai Dong’s works as the main narrative content to show the importance of classicality and poetry to people and the warmth and inclusiveness to heart in modern life.The paper aims at analyzing the factors performance of wandering and rooting in the novels of Cai Dong,so that there would be study to the reflection of modern life in the works of Cai Dong.Seen from the performance of the three points in the novels,it could be shown her sympathy,sympathy and pity for the people in Shenzhen and the helplessness and sigh for the people striving for their life in Shenzhen and Liuzhou.It is begun from classical factor,her broad feelings and complex but helpless love and hate for human nature and the description to the wandering and rooting as well as the performance of the yearning of rooting of modern people are described with the unique description of two genders’ images under the background of Shenzhen and Liuzhou these two cities.It could be said that Cai Dong’s unique understanding of contemporary literature and the exclusive literature content brought into practice are new power and energy to contemporary literature and the group of young writers.
