Study On The Form Of Visual Illusion In Oil Painting

In recent years,there have been a lot of research achievements on visual illusion in the subject areas of psychology,physiology,brain function and computer,etc.,which have also aroused much attention in the fields of visual communication and spatial design.However,the research in the field of painting practice is rare,most of which are the popularization of visual illusion knowledge of classical graphics and the researches made on the works of masters specialized in visual illusion art,such as Escher,Margaret and Fukuda Shigeo.As an independent art form,oil painting has its own unique artistic sense and expression effect.The application of some visual illusion principles in oil painting has not received much attention.Therefore,on the basis of the previous studies,this paper classifies the visual illusion phenomena that can be used in two-dimensional planar art from the perspective of painting practice research after analyzing and recognizing the pictures and data of this huge system of visual illusion,so as to investigate the important role of the principle of visual illusion in painting practice,further introducing the forms of visual illusion that can be used in oil painting,to provide a more comprehensive and systematic reference for the application of visual illusion factors in oil painting creation.Meanwhile,this paper also consider about the relationship between visual illusion,its forms of expression and contemporary oil painting creation from the contemporary perspective.Visual illusion can enrich visual language which deserves our continuous pursuit,exploration and practice.We can inject new blood into oil painting practice and bring many possibilities to the creation of oil painting with various forms of changes,strong visual novelty and spiritual impacts.
