The Characteristics And Values Of Lobsang Danbha Jatso's Works

Tsongkhapa said the one of most important achievements is writing.Inspirited by this motto,I try to research on the biography and works of master Lobsang Donbha Jatso.He was an important historical figure to the relationship between Mongolian and Tibetan culture.This paper is divided into eight parts to analyze the characteristics of the biography and works.Firstly introduces the experiences of studying and stories of building Hzang Monastery and teaching in it.Secondly and thirdly explain some vocabularies recorded in his books and classify the works,and then analyze the characteristics in his two books,namely(chos grags dgongs rgyan,bsdus gdzung rigs pavi sgo vbyed),on logic.Fourthly and fifthly compare the narrative techniques between his two essays,namely(lnga bsdus,go lavi rnam bdzag),on astronomy and calendars in order to prove that these two essays are originally two chapters of a same book,also talk about the characteristics and rhetoric methods of his two essays,namely(bar do ngo sprod),on Esoteric.Sixthly mainly talks about the educational value and psychologicalconnotation in his speeches and mottos,also talks about the characteristics and value of his spiritual lectures.Seventhly part describes the image of the mountain gods,and its origin and changes through comparing three kinds of Sangyeh(bsang yig)in his works.
