With the vigorous development of the Chinese subway industry,the important-of su bway in the city traffic brings a broader space for advertisement.Metro advertising whi ch has the advantages of a wide range of communication and a large area of spreadi ng is favored by many advertisers.On the other hand,for the sake of the audience in the subway space who have cultural,spiritual and emotional needs there are furth er requirements for the subway advertising’s contents and forms.Nowadays,digital med ia technology has become a new form of visual communication.The audience changes in the way of watching,feeling,and analysis of advertising.New visual form creates ne w aesthetic features,the sustainable development of subway advertising industry requires i tself to be a complete visual communication system.In addition,metro advertising and the audience for-m an organic interaction whole.Through the deep understanding of the development trend of subway advertising,this paper has a deep study on the direction of visual extension design,visual comp osition,visual elements,visual media,visual expression and so on.Research purpose s: firstly,the paper will reveal the development status of Chines-e subway advertising a nd sum up the shortcomings and development trends.Secondly,starting from the visual senses,combing with the development of science and technology,artistic creation and audien ce needs,the paper will refine the strategy of the subway advertising.Thirdly,in the direction of the visual extension of the subway advertising,the paper will deeply an alyze the design elements and design expression and sum up the appropriate creation l aw of subway visual extension,to form a scientific and rational design ideas.Finally,with the help of research results,the paper will carry out design practice,ma ke effective attempts in the visual extension design of subway advertising and test the ory in practice.
