Studies On The Form And Cultural Connotation Of Nanfeng Nuo Dance

Through the analysis of the historical evolution,ritual procedures,props,forms and records of nuo dance in nanfeng,this paper attempts to explain the cultural connotations of farming,reproductive worship,drama,Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism contained in nuo dance.The object of this thesis is the national intangible cultural heritage in shiyou village,nanfeng,jiangxi province.Firstly,the historical evolution,ritual procedure,image of "god nuo" and props of nuo dance in nanfeng are sorted out.Secondly,the paper mainly sorts out,complements and analyzes the dance forms and field records in nuo dance.Finally,the connotation of nuo dance is summarized from agricultural culture,reproductive worship,drama,Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism culture.The introduction part of the thesis mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the research,the research status,the research methods and so on.The first chapter is the historical evolution,which introduces the historical evolution of nuo dance in nanfeng and the current situation of nuo temple.The second chapter introduces the ritual procedures of "rising exorcism","leaping exorcism(performing exorcism)","searching exorcism" and "round exorcism".The third chapter is about the image and props of "god nuo" in nanfeng nuo dance,which respectively explains the image of "god nuo" in five programs and the props used in eight programs,and makes supplementary drawings and illustrations for the props used in the programs of "drunkenness","jumping stool","double bolang" and "sacrificial knife".In chapter four,the dance forms and scene records in the eight programs of "nuo dance" are arranged and supplemented,among which,the scene records of "kaishan mountain","drunkenness","jumping stool","shuangbolang" and "sacrificial sword" are supplemented and illustrated.The fifth chapter is the cultural connotation of nanfeng nuo dance,and it expounds the cultural connotation of nanfeng from the perspectives of farming culture,reproductive worship culture,drama culture,Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism culture.Chapter six is the conclusion.
