Since ancient times,Yangzhou has been known as "the famous capital of Huaizuo and the best place of Zhuxi".It has many intangible cultural heritages with rich contents,diverse forms and distinctive features left over from the long history,which have accumulated profound cultural connotations for thousands of years.These precious cultural heritages are the concentrated expression of the creativity and wisdom of the former sages,and among them.Traditional handicraft is a living specimen of history and one of the most typical features of intangible cultural heritage.With the acceleration of global integration,the intangible cultural heritage of traditional handicraft in Yangzhou has also been greatly impacted.Many older generations of inheritors of traditional handicraft are unable and unwilling to continue to adhere to traditional handicraft because they are directly facing the problems of survival and development.Today,they are pursuing maximum economic benefits.The living space of traditional craftsmanship is extremely narrow,especially some low-profit craftsmanship has gradually withdrawn from people’s life in the past 30 years,leaving only a few vague memories.How to save and maintain this precious cultural heritage is the most urgent problem to be solved in the protection of intangible cultural heritage,which is being paid more and more attention to,and how to make the intangible cultural heritage of traditional handicraft and crafts come into being.It is a very good protection and inheritance to integrate generation life,develop and utilize its market value and survive in the market.Nowadays,more and more cultural and creative industries are actually an important attempt for traditional handicraft products to enter the market.In the process of traditional handicraft products entering the market,the appearance of fake,inferior,fake and imitation products has seriously affected the image of traditional handicraft in consumersminds.At present,people from government departments to traditional handicrafts are aware that traditional handicraft needs the protection of intellectual property rights by law,so that traditional handicraft products can go to the market under the protection of intellectual property legal system.However,according to the current situation,there are still many problems in incorporating traditional handicraft into the framework of the protection of intellectual property legal system.It is not only the popularity of intellectual property law,the awareness of relevant stakeholders to safeguard their rights,but also the lack of legal system design for traditional handicraft.All these need to be further improved and perfected.This paper takes Yangzhou traditional handicraft as the object of investigation,mainly using the methods of social investigation,empirical analysis,literature and other research methods,to understand the current situation of protection of Yangzhou traditional handicraft intellectual property rights,analyze the existing problems in the process of legal protection,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions.This paper mainly includes three parts: the first part is the composition,results and analysis of the survey,and through investigation,visits and research,the current situation and problems of the protection of traditional handicraft are known in Yangzhou;the second part is to introduce the protection value of traditional handicraft in Yangzhou,that is why it is necessary to add traditional handicraft in Yangzhou.Strong protection;the third part is the current Yangzhou traditional handicraft protection measures,improved countermeasures,through the analysis and discussion of the first two parts,and this part put forward in the intellectual property legal system,how to further improve and improve the protection of Yangzhou traditional handicraft.
