| In recent years, dating violence incidents are frequently seen in the media and become more and more serious, and domestic idol dramas also frequently appear in dating violence plot, and to beautify and cover it.Feminist scholars have long attributed love violence to the structural inequality under the patriarchal system, and tried to reveal the oppression and control of the victim women by the ideology behind love violence,as well as the discipline to the public. However, the masses are not completely unconscious, and they have the initiative to reflect on social norms. Therefore, through audience analysis, this paper intends to connect TV dramas with real life,so as to observe how audiences,as other viewers, interpret the dating violence in idol dramas. And in life as a bystander,is how to face the dating violence suffered by others.Based on the analysis of the audience’s discourse, this paper finds that the audience does not fully accept the ideology in idol dramas, but has different perceptions and attitudes towards dating violence in idol dramas based on their experience.Although the audience tends to personalize dating violence in different cognitive ways, their attitudes include identification, rejection and bantering. These cognition and attitude permeate in the realistic behavior of the audience again, influence their behavior on the sidelines. In moral philosophy, many scholars have mentioned the moral power of the bystander, whose evaluation and judgment play a role in controlling evil deeds. Thus,it can be seen that audiences are not only influenced by social culture, but also become part of social norms through the cognition, attitude and behavior, influencing people suffering from dating violence. |
