Exploration Of The Late Shang Dynasty Bronze Civilization In Jianghan Plain

The Jianghan Plain was formed by the impact of the Yangtze River and the Han River.It is the only place where the Central Plains culture of the Shang Dynasty spreads to the south,and is therefore the center of the intersection of the Central Plains and the Southern culture.Since the Neolithic period,the Jianghan Plain has also been one of the most developed places in the Yangtze River Basin.At present,the high-grade sites matching the bronze civilization in the late Shang Dynasty of the Jianghan Plain have not yet been discovered.The bronze excavation is very scattered and seems to be mainly medium-sized bronzes.Therefore,most scholars believe that there is no bronze civilization in the Jianghan Plain during the late Shang Dynasty.Through systematic review of the discovery and research of the bronze cultural remains of the late Shang Dynasty in the Jianghan Plain and surrounding areas,it is known that the Guanghan,Shaanxi Chenggu and Jiangxi Xingan areas around the Jianghan Plain have formed a highly mature bronze civilization.In these areas,there are a large number of similarly-sized large-mouthed,folded-shouldered,folded-shouldered and other foreign artifacts unearthed.The author believes that the origin of these utensils should be in the Jianghan Plain.In the third chapter of this paper,the basic characteristics of the local bronzes in the late Shang Dynasty in the Jianghan Plain were sorted out,and their inheritance relationship with the early bronzes of the Jianghan Plain,the special casting process of the objects,and the causes and paths of their outward propagation were analyzed..The fourth chapter analyzes the superior conditions of the bronze civilization in the late Shang Dynasty in the Shanghan Plain from four aspects: geographical advantage,cultural foundation,copper casting technology and copper mineral resources.Finally,it analyzes the reasons for the blank of the study of the late Qing Dynasty bronze civilization in Jianghan Plain,and puts forward some suggestions for the future archaeological research work of Jianghan Plain.
