Mis Gao,whose name is Tao tao was the Queen Mother Xuanren and the Queen of Song Ying Zong.She came from Mengcheng,Anhui Province.Her great-grandfather GaoQiong is a famous general in the early years of Song dynasty,her father Gao Zunfu worked as deputy envoy of North workshop and her mother Miss cao is the granddaughter of a Northern Song’s founder—Cao Bing and the Song Ren Zong’s queen’s sister.Miss Gao was raised in the palace with Song Ying Zong when she was young,and they got married in Song Ren Zong’s dynasty when Song Ying Zong was the crown prince.In Jiayou eight years(1063),Song Ren Zong died and Song Ying Zong succeeded to the throne.Miss Gao became queen and was honored as the Queen Mother after Song Shen Zong taking the throne.In Yuanfeng eight years(1085),Song Shen Zong died of illness and he assigned Song Zhe Zong to be the new emperor,so Miss Gao was respected as grandma-empress and managed all the political and military affairs.From then on,Miss Gao began to rule behind a curtain.During the period of her administration,a series of measures were taken to stabilize the political situation in the early years of Song Zhe Zong,but it also intensified the contradiction between the new party that supported Wang Anshi’s reformation and the old party which opposed the reformation.In Yuanyou eight years(1093),she died when she was 62 years old,and she was honored as Xuan Ren Sheng Lie.She was buried in the Yonghou Mausoleum after one year.Shortly after Gao’s death,Song Zhe Zong took over the reins of government.The new party re-ruled the government and they began to retaliate against the old party,which led to the intensification of contradictions between the new party and the old party.It also caused the discussion on the policy of Song Zhe Zong at the beginning of the Miss Gao’s government.These two very different views on the policy in the later period of the Northern Song Dynasty formed the fact of False Accusation Of Xuanren.After several discussions in Song Zhe Zong,Song Hui Zong,Song Qin Zong and Song Gao Zong’s dynasty,it was clarified and finally declared to the world in the Song Gao Zong’s dynasty.The Chronicle of Gao Taotao to make a detailed textual research and show the basic situation of his family members,his early life experience,the decree of the period of listening to the government,and the beginning and end of the "the slander of Gao Taotao ".At the same time,we also hope to reflect the relationship between Gao’s policy and Yuanyou’s party contention,and the influence on Yuanyou’s political situation.
