Phonetic Study Of Zhutuo Dialect In Yongchuan, Chongqing City And Its Comparison With Surrounding Dialects

Zhutuo Town is located in the southwest corner of Chongqing,at the junction of Sichuan Province and Chongqing Municipality.Although it is within the administrative division of Yongchuan District,the dialect point of Chengdu-Chongqing dialect in southwest mandarin,the east,south and west are surrounded by the dialect points of Sichuan and Guizhou Minjiang River in the southwest,Jiangjin District of Chongqing and Luzhou City of Sichuan Province.Zhutuo dialect has the characteristics of independent tones of the ancient entering tone of the Minjiang River in Sichuan and Guizhou,but the final rhyme has disappeared,and the initial consonant and vowel are mostly similar to those in Chengdu and Chongqing.So far,Zhutuo dialect has never been investigated and studied.Referring to the dialect studies in Chongqing,we still take the central districts and counties as the research object,and there are few studies on the districts,counties and villages and towns far away from the urban area,and the study of the dialect points located in the boundary zone of the dialect division also needs to be in-depth.Zhutuo Town,as the dialect point at the junction of Chengdu-Chongqing and Sichuan-Guizhou Minjiang River in southwest mandarin,the particularity of its boundary dialect needs to be further explored.This paper mainly makes a systematic and comprehensive description of the phonology and literary and colloquial pronunciation of Zhutuo dialect,and studies the phonetic features of 21 southwest mandarin written by famous professor Zhou Jixu in Sichuan dialect,and compares Zhutuo dialect with Yongchuan and Yuzhong in Chengdu and Chongqing,and the phonetic system of Luzhou and Chongzhou in Minjiang to explore their dialect attributes.In view of the fact that Chongqing separated from Sichuan Province in 1997 and was established as a municipality directly under the Central Government,Chongqing dialect and Sichuan dialect both belong to the dialect area of Southwest Mandarin,and they are closely related,so the research method of this paper is also quite enlightened by the study of Sichuan dialect.The full text is divided into six parts.The first chapter is introduction,which mainly summarizes the background,significance,dialect points,related research and research methods of this paper.As this is the first investigation and study of Zhutuo Town dialect,the related research is divided into three parts,referring to and listing the discussion on the division of Chongqing dialect,Yongchuan and other surrounding dialects,as well as other phonological studies of Chongqing dialect.The second chapter mainly describes the phonology of Zhutuo dialect,including initial consonant system,vowel system and tone system,and introduces the coordination relationship of phonology and tone and phonological characteristics,including consonant characteristics and vowel characteristics.The third chapter lists the homonym vocabulary of Zhutuo dialect in detail and provides materials for the related research of Zhutuo dialect.The fourth chapter makes a detailed description and analysis of the literary and colloquial readings situation of Zhutuo dialect.First of all,it is arranged according to the degree of difference,and summarizes the different pronunciation of the same tone in turn,such as the same tone,the same rhyme,the same tone,and so on.Then the literary and colloquial readings level is analyzed from three aspects: initial consonant,vowel and tone.The fifth chapter compares the pronunciation of Zhutuo dialect with that of Yongchuan,Luzhou,Yuzhong and Chongzhou,and makes reference to the phonetic features of Professor Zhou Jixu's 21 southwest mandarin.Draw the phonetic similarity table between Zhutuo and Yongchuan,Luzhou,Yuzhong and Chongzhou,and clarify the nature and characteristics of Zhutuo dialect.The last part is the conclusion,which will sort out and summarize the main contents of the article.
