New Changes And Influences Of Huang Tingjian's Six Character Poems

Ancient Chinese poetry can be classified according to the number of words in each sentence.In the early period,only four-character poetry was orthodox,and five or seven-character poetry gradually flourished.Six-character poems have long been on the edge.There are few six-character poems in Tang Dynasty.However,in Song Dynasty,it ushered in a creative peak.Huang Tingjian,a representative of the Six-character Poetry in the Song Dynasty,not only started the creation of the Six-character Poetry,but also created 81 six-character poetry,68 of which were quatrains,ranking first in the Northern Song Dynasty.Since then,the number of six-character poems and their creators have expanded rapidly,reaching the climax.This unique development is inseparable from the new changes in Huang Tingjian's six-character poems.Therefore,this paper takes Huang Tingjian's six-character poetry as the research object,explores its characteristics and new changes,and discusses its influence.This paper is divided into four parts: the introduction introduces the basic overview of Huang Tingjian's six-character poems,reviews previous studies and expounds the significance of the topic.The first chapter summarizes various new rhythm patterns in Huang Tingjian's six-character poems,and combines them with metrics to explore the conceptual arrangement between rhythm and metrics.The theme of painting accounts for nearly a quarter of all Huang Tingjian's poems,and a great deal of creation promotes the development of the artistic form of the poems.Especially in the six-character poems,the proportion of inscriptions on paintings has reached 12.3%,which creatively connects the paintings of six-character poems with those of paintings.Therefore,the second chapter explores the new changes in Huang Tingjian's six-character poems in paintings,and expounds the relationship between six-character poems and paintings from the perspective of space-time relationship.In addition,Huang Tingjian's sixcharacter poems are mostly used for reward singing and gift answering.They are totally different from traditional "six-character poems are difficult to work" and avoid or are shy of showing people's attitude.On the contrary,Huang Tingjian's six-character poems are willing to show and communicate with friends.Chapter three looks at the functions and characteristics of Huang Tingjian's six-character poems from the perspective of communicative function,and explores the ways of learning and influencing among poets of different styles in connection with the poems between friends.
