From Art Warrior To Dance Master

Wu Xiaobang's New Dance of Aesthetics Theory still has important guiding significance to date.The formation process of his theory has important theoretical value and practical significance for today's dancing major and training for dance talents.Therefore,this paper takes the formation process of the theory as the research object to analyzes the key factors which promote its formation,and the paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter briefly summarizes the basic content of Wu Xiaobang's New Dance of Aesthetics Theory,including the artistic view of realistic new dance,the concept of inheritance and development of the classical spirit,the dancing aesthetics of natural laws and the ideas combined with theory and practice.The second chapter analyzes the social environment formed by Wu Xiaobang 's New Dance of Aesthetics Theory,namely,the advanced Western modern civilization,the popular German modern dance and Japan which was the first to be Westernized,and the domestic learning from western and the new cultural movement.The third chapter focuses on Wu's artistic experience and how he gradually formed the theory,revealing the literary rhyme and historical outlook promoted by Wu as a history teacher,and his understandings on dance were deepened as a music major students.He also laid the foundation of dance,knowledge and modern dance concepts established as a student of the Japanese Maihama Institute.Wu was a play director who has formed comprehensive view of dance,he also gains the dance aesthetic education concept summarized as an instructor of life,he is the responsible person for Tianma Studio and initiated the study on classic new dance and the exploration of classical spirit.The fourth chapter study the friends of Wu and their interaction to explain the foundational role of Wu's soul mentors such as Isadora Duncan and Takada,Eguchi,and Miyako in his dance ideas and techniques.Tao Xingzhi,Ouyang Yuqian,Wei Bu,Du Xuan,A Jia,Sheng Jie,and Dai Ailian are also Wu's friends to communicate with him.The fifth chapter summarize two points after studying the formation and experience of new dance,namely,the inspiration for the development of dance,which is to study the trend and outside the trend to learn their advantages;the inspiration for the cultivation of contemporary dance talents,which is to be a good person first before you could master dancing.
