Ulan Muqir is a new type of artistic performance group with distinctly national,regional and ethnic characteristics born in Inner Mongolia after the founding of the People's Republic of China.The Ulan Muqir Team is terse and forceful,and its members master many skills while specializing in one,with the art form with national,local characteristics and era characteristics,bring joy to the grass-roots farmers and herdsmen,publicize the Party's literary and artistic policies,and make important contributions to the inheritance,innovation and development of new music in Inner Mongolia.In this paper,the Xianghuang Banner Ulan Muqir is taken as the main research object,and put it in the context of China's social changes,sorting out the development and changes in the initial period,the "cultural revolution" period,the reform and opening up period,the late 1990 s and since the beginningof the 21 st century in the market economy,cultural pluralism,globalization and other periods,which include the composition of staff,operation mode,personnel training policy,the way of learning art,performance and other aspects of the Xianghuang Banner Ulan Muqir.In this paper,It introduces the organization forms,operation forms,personnel training policies,learning styles and music performance of the team members.This paper expounds the inner motivations of the existence and development of Xianghuang Banner Ulan Muqir,and try to analyze the external factors such as history,culture and social changes that have profound influence on it.By combining the history and current situation of Ulan Muqir,this paper finds the law of the existence and development of this artistic performance group with distinct ethnic and local characteristics in Inner Mongolia,and explores the historical process of the development of Inner Mongolia music since the modernization.
