| Degree adverbs play an important role in Mandarin Grammar as well as in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Due to their various rules of use,they have always been particularly difficult for foreign students,including Russian students.To help Russian students grasp the usage of degree adverbs and have further improvement in Chinese language learning,this paper used questionnaire survey(Appendix)and took Russian students from school of International Chinese Language Education in Jilin University and Faculty of International Education of Chinese Language in BLCU as subjects to investigate how they use these three degree adverbs:“hen”、“tai”、“zhen”,researching in the language databases from HSK dynamic Composition Corpus,BLCU and Chinese Interlanguage Corpus,BLCU.Based on these investigations,the paper analyzed and classified the common errors among Russian students as well as the causes and propounded solutions.This paper has five sections:Section1 pointed out the research background,research scope,corpus sources,theoretical basis,research methods and significance;and briefly introduced the research status of degree adverbs: “hen”、“tai”、“zhen”in nature define,grammar,pragmatics,comparison and teaching strategy.Section2 stated the meaning and usage of“ hen”、“tai”、“zhen”according to previous discussion at the beginning,then it studied the corresponding expressions of“hen”、“tai”、“zhen”in Russian language and did comparative studies in semantic and grammatical perspectives.In Section3,it is first introduced the subjects and scope of the survey,and the design of the questionnaire,then analyzed the corpus from both questionnaires and language databases and counted the common errors by categories,and studied in depth accordingly at the end.Section4 analyzed the causes of these common errors on the basis of real casesand gave related suggestions for teaching strategy,looking forward to provide some support to teachers in practice.Section5 draw the conclusion on the study,and pointed out the shortcomings in this paper and further efforts directions. |
