Drictor Exposition Of The Documentary “Carving Ingenuity”

The Carving is an ancient craft and one of the precious intangible cultural heritages in the Chinese arts and crafts industry.Among them,the arts of nuclear carving and stone carving,have extremely high requirements on the craftsmanship of the creators.Not only do creators need to have a wealth of experience,they also need to strive for excellence,detail,and meticulousness when creating.Only in this way can they create a perfect artistic work.But with the development of industrialized civilization,more and more people know little about these two traditional crafts.Telling Chinese stories well and spreading the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation are the responsibilities and obligations of every Chinese media.Therefore,the author filmed this documentary " Sculpting Ingenuity ",Its protagonists are two carving craftsmen,Deng Wei and Jia Jie,a young man and an old man,one for nuclear carving and one for stone carving.This film is closely related to the word "ingenuity",and aims the camera at their professional experience and spirit,and shoots their life,creative aspects and their surrounding people.Its main purpose has three points.The first point is to record the image of stone carving and nuclear carving art creation.The second point is to call for the protection and inheritance of intangible culture.The third point is to call for professionalism,leanness,innovation,Attentive,persistent,patient and rigorous craftsmanship.This article is the author's explanation of the entire creative process of graduation design " Sculpting Ingenuity ",including the five parts of introduction,early planning,mid-term shooting,post-processing,and creative perception.
