This paper analyzes the conposition expression of middle-level Chinese dudents in Madagascar. For foreign students, composition is the most dfficult part in Chinese learning Through composition, we can investigate the learners' mastery of Chinese expression and Whether they can use Chinese thinking to express their meaning Composition is a combination of words and granmar, so it is the first thing to grasp Chinese granmar and vocabulary, but it is not enough to grasp granmar and words. Written expression is not so casual as or al expression. There should be appropriate connectives in the composition to combine evry sentence so as to be logical. Because the second language learners do not master these,they cannot use Chines words and granmar correctly. Therefore, there are often many errors in the composition. From the per spective of the Chinese the Chinese compostion of MaIagasy students is not smooth as a a whole.In this paper, the quantitative research method is used to find out the efficiency of each error. The author collected 240 Chinese composition of Malagasy students and analyzed these erros in depth. The errors of Malagasy students' Chinese composition can be classified into words errors and granmar errors by error analysis theory and quantitative research method.Then, find out the main reason of the error. Due to the negative transfer of mother tongue,the target language knowledge is not well mastered, which leads to erros. In addition,learners' learning strategies are not right They avoid difficulties, do not use complex sentenoe pattens, and use "Google translate" to write Chinese compositions. In addition to learning strategies, there are also teaching proldens. writing course do not figured amongst the subject of study. The class hours are too fewand the teaching materials used are old and few In order to improve the Chines compostion level of Malagasy students,the author puts forward some suggestions. In teaching and learning Chinese in Madagascar, writing course do not figured amongst the subject of study, so I suggest to set up a compositon class and put forward some suggestions on teaching methods, In teaching we should use more "Situational Method" and "discovery mode teaching" to help students master Chinese sentarce patterns and vacabulary more effectively. After that, it can help witing class in Madagascar.There are for chapters in this paper: the first chapter, research review. The second chapter focuses on the types of expreeion errors of middle-level Chinese conpositions of Malageasy students, nanely,two major types of errors: lexical errors and granmatical errors.The third chapter is to analyze the causes of the errors. Fnally, the forth chapter is to propose the cor ressponding teaching strategies.
