In the context of dance education in China,the study of the dance education course system of the master's degree in dance is the actual demand for the development of dance talent training,the objective demand for optimizing the construction of the curriculum system,and the demand for the systemization of the curriculum system.This study explores the three major aspects of the curriculum objectives,curriculum settings,and curriculum evaluation of dance education in China and the United Kingdom through the literature data method,survey method,data processing method,and comparative analysis method.Using the regional sampling method,6 universities were selected to represent China.Since the only British university offering a dance education master's degree in dance education is the University of Edinburgh,only 1 university represents the UK.By comparing the courses system of the dance education direction of the masters of dance between the two countries,the differences and similarities of the courses system of the dance education direction of the masters of dance between China and Britain are analyzed in turn.The research conclusions are as follows: 1.The course objectives of the course system emphasize the cultivation of comprehensive quality of professional technology and educational ability.The comprehensive ability cultivation of the combination of dance theory and educational practice is the basic requirement for talent training in universities of the two countries;Regarding the education of professional compulsory courses as the core,the proportion of hours and credits is relatively high,but the curriculum of practical education is relatively weak;3.The curriculum of Chinese colleges and universities focuses on public and professional courses.Although there is no classification of public courses in the United Kingdom,British universities attach importance to the exploration of dance science theory in compulsory and elective courses;4.The direction of dance education in Chinese universities focuses on the quality of curriculum evaluation,and the quality of professional evaluation in British university curriculum evaluation is relatively high,of which the average score of Chinese university courses is higher than that of the United Kingdom.The evaluation of college courses is evenly divided.However,the curriculum evaluation of the five latitudes of the Chinese and British universities has not reached the high quality standard,and needs to be further improved.
