Min Zhi-ting(1924-2004)called Yuxidaoren,who was born in Nanzhao County,Henan province.In 1941,he became a monk in Huashan mountain.Later,he served as the discipline Master of Beijing Baiyunguan temple and the supervisor of Xi 'an Wanshou Baxian Palace.He started the construction of Xi 'an Mingsheng Palace.In 1998,he became President of China Taoist Association and President of China Taoist Institute.In 2003,in the video materials of applying for the world intangible cultural heritage of guqin,the scene of Mr.Min playing it conquered all the people on the scene.By visiting old friends and disciples of Mr.Min Zhi-ting,this paper collects relevant information,and learns from Mr.Min Zhi-ting's life background,origin of guqin studies,collection of instruments,and tracing of the music in the double score of Ink-book,that the guqin is an important part of his spiritual world and is consistent with his pursuit of Taoist practice.There are 42 pieces of music recorded in his "guqin" and "shanlinyiyun",which respectively represent the two aspects of his inheritance and inheritance of guqin.In addition,he condensed his ideas and attitudes towards the Taoist guqin in the afterword of "shanlinyiyun".After a thorough understanding of Taoist rhyme,martial arts,calligraphy,painting,alchemy health preservation and other aspects,he has formed his unique Taoist style.
