A Study Of Music Historical Materials In Notes Of Tang Dynasty

Note writing in Tang Dynasty is a great sight,which contains a lot of music historical materials.Through extensive collection and careful review,this paper has collected about 50 notes of the Tang Dynasty,sorted out more than 40000 words of scattered music historical data,investigated the historical role and significance of music historical data in these notes in the narrative content,studied its writing characteristics,and explored the research value and significance of music historical data in the Tang Dynasty pen records from these two aspects.In the first part,the author makes a comparative study of the music historical materials in the notes of Tang Dynasty and the previous generation,makes a percentage statistics of the total amount of notes music historical materials in the two Han,Wei,Jin and Tang Dynasties,and sorts out four types of notes music in Tang Dynasty: activity music,strange and weird music,genre music,music.Compared with the notes music works of Han and Wei dynasties,the music historical materials in the notes of Tang Dynasty are more abundant in variety and quantity.In the second part,the author studies the academic value of historical materials.The music historical materials in the notes of the Tang Dynasty record various kinds of music events.Based on the new materials,historical materials confirmation and historical materials value,the author divides the music historical materials in the notes of the Tang Dynasty into three categories: first,the palace music activities,music organizations,banquets and other activities in the Tang Dynasty;second,the drama,instrumental music,song and dance music,singing art and other types in the Tang Dynasty;third,the musicians in the Tang Dynasty Music.This paper extensively collects and comprehensively inspects the existing notes and music historical materials of Tang Dynasty.These historical materials are relatively scattered,and the content of writing is complex,which is different from the objects(court rites and music,etc.)concerned by music monographs such as music examination historical materials,historical books and music records.The music historical materials in the notes of Tang Dynasty mainly record the music matters in the social life of Tang Dynasty,and they complement each other to form the Tang Dynasty’s pronoun Music historical data system.We can find historical materials of note music in some historical books of Tang Dynasty,which shows that Tang people have realized the value of note music historical materials.Whether it is the documents copied in the historical books or the music historical materials of notes ofTang Dynasty that exist independently are important historical materials for studying the music of Tang Dynasty.The music historical materials in notes of Tang Dynasty are more extensive and vivid than the historical books.The innovation of this paper focuses on the following aspects: first,the author combs the music historical materials scattered in the notes of Tang Dynasty,classifies the contents of the historical materials,summarizes the overall characteristics of the music historical materials in the notes of Tang Dynasty,and objectively evaluates the academic value of the notes of Tang Dynasty in the field of music study.Secondly,the author further studies the issues related to the notes music historical materials of Tang Dynasty,such as the issues of writing characteristics and compiling groups,and collates them with other historical materials,including Tongdian,jiutangshu and suishu,so as to promote the relevant research progress.
