Historical Construction And Video Presentation: A Narrative Study Of The Documentary "THE LOCAL RECORDS OF CHINA"

In recent years,the country has paid more and more attention to the development of local culture in various places,and the compilation of local chronicles has once again attracted national attention.Local history,as an important part of China ’s long history,has fully witnessed the historical changes in economic,political,and cultural aspects in various places,and is undertaking the important tasks of spreading China’s traditional culture and promoting Chinese cultural innovation.With the rapid development of today’s society,advanced technology and innovative thinking have begun to transform the method of revising local chronicles in writing into a new way of editing local chronicles by using images.In May 2017,the large-scale local county documentary "THE LOCAL RECORDS OF CHINA" was broadcast on CCTV,and once broadcast,it received high attention and praise from the audience.How did the documentary win the attention of the audience? In my opinion,the narrative element is a crucial factor,and it is also a question worthy of consideration and research.This article refers to the theory of film and television narratology,film and television history,and documentary creation.Based on some scholars’ research on China ’s image history,historical documentary and historical and cultural documentary,this paper reviews the documentary "China" from a new perspective of historical construction and image presentation.The narrative of "THE LOCAL RECORDS OF CHINA".This article takes the documentary "THE LOCAL RECORDS OF CHINA" as the research object,and uses text analysis,literature analysis and comparative research to study it.The thesis is divided into four parts:The introduction mainly clarifies the research origin and research significance,research status,research ideas and innovations of the documentary "THE LOCAL RECORDS OF CHINA".The first chapter mainly focuses on the definition and clarification of the concept.From thedocumentary,The birth began with obvious features of documenting the present and presenting history.It summarized the definition of documentary,then discussed the transition of traditional book county ambitions to new image county histories,and clarified that both historical documentary and historical and cultural documentaries are different from local historical documentaries.This background category is used to sort out the development history of local chronicle documentaries,thus leading to the documentary "THE LOCAL RECORDS OF CHINA".The main research content of Chapter Two is the narrative content of the documentary "THE LOCAL RECORDS OF CHINA" : Let ’s start with what is a documentary narrative,so as to explain The thematic meaning of the narrative content,the audio-visual language of the narrative content and the expression method of the narrative content;Chapter III mainly studies the narrative method of the documentary "THE LOCAL RECORDS OF CHINA" : It starts with exploring the narrative perspective established by it and expounds the narrative structure it constructs Control Rhythm and reflect narrative style,showing various views of a dynamic multi-county scene for the audience.Through the research and discussion of the above four parts,it will provide corresponding reference for future local chronicle documentaries in the process of structural narrative.
