| Cao Wenxuan is the representative of contemporary Chinese children’s writers.His long children’s works Grass House,Red Tile and Root Bird are his most classic works.Among them,"Grass House" and "Red Tile" construct another geographical image of Chinese Literature-"Sesame Oil Land".These novels show the simple and beautiful human feelings and customs of northern Jiangsu,and at the same time guide readers to understand the true meaning of life through the theme of "suffering and growth".Cao Wenxuan’s novels are not only suitable for children to read and feel the innocence and interest of children,but also suitable for adults to read and appreciate the philosophy of life and seek the value of life.Cao Wenxuan is a writer in a scientific class and has received comprehensive academic teaching.However,his writing style and content are far away from the mainstream writers.He won the Andersen Prize for Literature,but he encountered difficulties in entering the history of literature.But it is undeniable that Cao Wenxuan’s children’s long stories have achieved great success both in art and in the market.This paper mainly studies the narrative perspective,narrative structure and narrative space of Cao Wenxuan’s children’s novels through the theory o f narratology.At the same time,it also explores the literary history and contemporary significance of Cao Wenxuan’s children’s literature.This paper is divided into four chapters.Chapter one,through the narrative voice of Genette and others and the theory of narrative vision,analyses the narrative perspective of Grass House and Red Watt.Gennett and others divide the narrative perspective into two aspects,one is the narrative voice and the other is the narrative vision.Whose eyes and tone of voice to say.Cao Wenxuan,as a child writer,has both a child perspective and an adult perspective in his novels.However,the narrative voice and vision change and combine between children and adults,showing a rich and colorful narrative world.Chapter two,through Roland Bart’s structuralist narratology theory,analyses the text structure of Cao Wenxuan’s children’s novels.Grass House,Red Tile and Root Bird all have certain artistic features in the text structure.In addition to the structural generality of ordinary texts,this paper finds the structural particularity of Cao Wenxuan’s novel texts from the surface structure and deep structure.Chapter three,through Frank’s narrative space theory in "The Space Structure of Narrative Works",interprets the space art of Cao Literature’s children’s novel.The spatial art of several novels is analyzed from three dimensions: geographic space,text space and psychological space,and metaphors carried by various spatial forms are also analyzed.From the outside to the inside,from the phenomenon to the essence,feel the charm of Cao Wenxuan’s children’s novel.Chapter IV,through some knowledge of literary history and theoretical analysis of Cao Wenxuan’s plight in literary history,as well as Cao Wenxuan’s contribution to the creation of Chinese children’s works,to explore.Cao Wenxuan’s broad vision enlarged the audience of his works and the depth of discussion was higher than that of ordinary children’s writers.His success provided valuable inspiration for other writers. |
