Luo zhongli plays an irreplaceable role in the history of Chinese contemporary art,and his series of works with "Ta-pa Shan" as the motif has almost run through his entire career.Through a thorough and in-depth study of this series of works,it can not only excavate the reason of Luo Zhongli's persistent expression of the motif of "Ta-pa Shan",but also carefully tease out the evolution of Luo Zhongli's artistic style.According to the need of topic selection,this paper is mainly divided into the following five parts for research and discussion:Firstly,the introduction part expounds the background basis of this topic and the current research trend,as well as the main research methods and thinking objectives.The second chapter is to carefully comb out the origin and background of the motif "Ta-pa Shan" from luo zhongli's growth experience,including analyzing the profound impact of luo zhongli's relationship with deng kaixuan and his family on luo zhongli's creation.As well as the early experience of studying in Europe,luo zhongli was immersed in thinking about his own identity,so he completely chose to return to daba mountain and find a local personalized painting language.The third chapter expounds the narrative mode and the core idea of "Ta-pa Shan" motif series.The fourth chapter is a more in-depth and detailed image analysis of "Ta-pa Shan" series works,it includes the analysis of the role of four typical painting objects in the image of the work: "staircase","oil lamp","domestic cow" and "farmer",further understanding and analysis of the unique color and line of luo's neutral artistic style is carried out to summarize the evolution process of luo's neutral artistic style.The fifth chapter is to interpret the inspiration of luo zhongli's "Ta-pa Shan" motif to Chinese contemporary oil painting.Finally,it is concluded that the evolution of luo's neutral artistic style is not a fractured transformation,but a parallel exploration of painting from four parallel paths of realism,expression,primal and fusion,and finally establishes a painting style of "Magic Realism" with "variant painting" as the main style.Although his painting language is changeable,the only core theme he conveys is the expression of the original nature of primitive human nature,from the original description of the daily life of farmers in daba mountain to the integration of their own life,which has steadily built up luo zhongli's personalized artistic growth vein.
