For more than half a century, the creation of China's ethnographic documentaries is still in full swing. However, the differences between the creative subject's academic level, imaging technology capabilities, and knowledge reserve capacity inevitably deviate the creative quality from the original intention of the creation those cause a certain degree of distortion in the creation. Therefore, the author starts from the creative thinking level of the underlying mechanism of creation,by constructing a set of ethnographic documentary creative thinking mode optimization schemes, with a view to improving the quality of works and evolving the creative environment,to provide creators with a living space for sustainable creation. The thesis consists of four parts.First,it briefly describes the historical background and stage characteristics of the ethnographic documentary.Second, find out the focus of various ethnographic documentary thinking patterns from classic examples at home and abroad.Third, based on the study of the relevance of the thinking classification,a set of more complete ethnographic documentary creation thinking mode schemes were extracted.By deconstructing the practice process of the thinking mode of the graduation work Biasha Tribe, the proposed creative thinking mode is more convincing.Fourth, the author makes concluding thoughts on the researched aspects, proposes existing problems and gives feasible solutions to future problems.Ensuring the classics and timelessness of each ethnographic documentary is the goal we have been pursuing. The construction of the ethnographic documentary creative thinking model not only has the theoretical significance of bridging the academic gap,but also has the practical significance of optimizing creative thinking to achieve creative goals.
