The Effects Of Third-party Positive Evaluation And Repair Strategies On The Repair Of Interpersonal Trust

Trust is an important foundation and guarantee for the normal development of interpersonal activities,which exists in different forms of social activities.Trust is prone to breach of trust,and after the breach occurs,the process of restoring the relationship of trust between the two parties in various ways is called a trust repair.Trust breach of trust causes great harm to interpersonal relationship and social credit system,so the research on the repair of trust after breach has become the focus of the research.Third-party evaluation refers to the evaluation information that can be shared by breaching party by the trust party and the breaching party by the third party other than the breaching party.This study uses the method of scenario simulation to carry out two studies.The impact of positive third-party evaluation on trust repair is explored through a pre-experiment and three formal experiments.A pre-experiment is mainly tested for the validity of scenario questionnaires in order to carry out follow-up studies,and the experiment focuses on the impact of positive evaluation of third-party evaluation on trust repair.The second experiment verified the repair effect of different trust repair strategies after the breach of interpersonal trust,and the second experiment explored the impact of third-party positive evaluation on trust repair and its comparison with the individual use of repair strategies.The results of the study show that thirdparty positive evaluation can effectively improve trust breach and promote the level of trust,has the effect of trust repair,different repair strategies also play a certain degree of repair effect,third-party positive evaluation and repair strategy is better and significantly different than the use of repair strategy alone.Combined with data analysis,the specific conclusions are as follows:(1)after the breach of interpersonal trust,the third party positive evaluation has played a repair effect on the overall level of trust,the effect has reached a remarkable level in the repair of trust belief and willingness to trust.(2)After the breach of interpersonal trust,there is a significant difference between whether or not use the repair strategy has a significant difference to the effect of trust repair,under the ability-based breach,the three trust repair strategies differ significantly from the no-strategy in the repair of trust belief.Under the integrity violation,the apology and redemption are significantly different from the no strategy,three repair strategies are significantly different from the no-strategy in the repair of the trust-like breach,and the difference between the repair strategy and the no-strategy are not significant.(3)After the breach of interpersonal trust,the trust repair strategy and the third party positive evaluation of the trust level and the various dimensions of the repair effect is good,compared with no repair conditions,the difference is very significant;Capability Breach,in the repair of the overall level of trust,competency positive evaluation & apology / penance / apology & penance-better than the use of apology / penance / apology & penance and the difference is significant.Integrity violations,integrity positive reviews&apologies / penances / apologies & penance are better than the use of apologies / penance / apologies & penance and the differences are significant.
