As a carrier of sculpture art,wood material plays an irreplaceable role in the expression of artists' thoughts,emotions and ideas.Different themes will give different meanings.When chiseling wood,it will be found that different wood materials have different characteristics,artists of different periods use different skills and different creative methods,which will bring different feelings and meanings to wood carving.The beauty of woodcarving brought by all these differences is the charm of woodcarving and the significance of studying woodcarving art.The main purpose of writing this paper is to explore the innovative forms of the theme in the development process of wood carving,and how the creation of wood carving art breaks the previous confinement with the help of the theme to innovate on its basis.The research methods used include 1.Literature analysis.That is to find out the relevant information from the ancient books and classify them.The first chapter of the article uses this method to trace back to the origin and development of Chinese traditional woodcarving.I have investigated and analyzed a large number of texts,hoping to comb out a clear vein of development and transformation of Chinese traditional woodcarving.The content of the first chapter is divided into four parts,one is the origin of traditional wood carving;the other is the inheritance of traditional wood carving paradigm;the third is the type of wood carving theme.2.Observation and summary.Because the article involves the classification of some wood carving art forms,I carefully observed the specific wood carving art works and classified them in style and practice methods.3.Practice investigation.The second and third chapters of this paper are related to the current wood carving creation language.I visited some artists and observed some artists' works.These practical experiences brought me deeper understanding and thinking.In this paper,through the tracing of domestic wood carving art and the research of techniques and forms,try to sort out the development vein from the source of wood carving to the traditional wood carving and then to innovation.As well as the main methods and forms of wood carving creation,we can see clearly how they changed the traditional wood carving creation language.To sum up,through the textual research and research in this paper,the origin and development of Chinese woodcarving,as well as the main techniques and forms of expression are first clarified.The main purpose of this paper is to explore how to open a new field of vision with the help of the theme of the current traditional wood carving.Here,I will briefly state the context of this issue: in the text,time is the implied clue.From the beginning of modern times,there has been a certain change in the traditional creation,which is mainly reflected in the beginning of technology,the construction of the current language form system,and the current wood carving creation on the theme There are new breakthroughs and performances.About how to make new discoveries in the current wood carving creation,this paper makes a more detailed comb and analysis.At the end of the essay,I discuss how to face and understand the topic of "the impact of the theme" in my creative practice with my own works.
