"Image" the image information in the modern era at this age is for everyday words now,for the artist,the painting in narrative language for the use of "image" as its own way of material has been used to,and the "memory" as part of the artists personal experience,it provide motivation works creation will also due to social members have in common memory.Artists create their own unique art world by expressing the memories formed in their unique culture and environment.Time and space expression is the way in creation connects the art perception with the historical memory experience.Paying attention to and presenting the factor of time in the picture is conducive to exploring the meaning behind the image or the social common historical memory at a deeper level.Time consciousness is exist in a part of human world view,and the conceptual presentation of temporality in contemporary art has become an increasingly important concept.This paper mainly analyzes the representative artist of the new Leipzig school of painting in Germany of the image narration in the Neo Rauch works,In terms of the time and space expression,some other the new Leipzig school representative painting artists are cited to analyze the "time" and "memory" concepts presented in their works.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction in the thesis and the significance of the researchThe second chapter simply describes the image era background and the image narrative definition.Chapter three briefly introduces the new Leipzig school of painting background,and analyzes "memory" and "time" specific characteristics in the new Leipzig school of painting.The fourth chapter starts from the author's own creation,from the creative materials selection and the interpretation of "time" and "memory" concept presented by personal creation,as well as the author's graduation creation plan.
