Enjoyable flower-and-bird painting is a historical product of Chinese classical philosophy and classical aesthetics.Following with figure painting and landscape painting in the early period of the Tang dynasty to realize independent branch,the enjoyable flower and bird painting techniques and performance form consciousness have experienced the Song and Yuan period of change as well as the evolution of the aesthetic thoughts,which is becoming increasingly mature and perfect,it reached the zenith of art until the Ming and Qing dynasties,the historical position of enjoyable flower and bird painting has achieved the establishment in the true sense.In ancient China,it advocated "nature and humanity",which had the background of in the pursuit of beauty and imagery special aesthetic culture,although enjoyable flower and bird painting and traditional Chinese realistic painting in the ideological pursuit of art and artistic conception convey is tend to be consistent,the two are different in terms of form and technique of expression,and its particularity on the technique of expression makes it realize the aesthetic idea highly unifies painting technique,meanwhile it has the maximum flexibility and subjective initiative which other type cannot be surpassed.Enjoyable flower and bird painting,therefore,becomes the indispensable and the most representative of Chinese traditional art form,also one of extremely full of soul and vitality type in the field of Chinese painting art,it is not the simulate objective image of a single picture,but the natural object and national culture with a highly condensed and emotional expression after deeply observed,the artistic keynote is to show the harmony between nature and human ideal state.This article studies "management position" in the performance and application of Pan Tianshou enjoyable flower and bird painting,analyzes and contrasts "management position" of his works with ancient enjoyable flower and bird painting on the commonness and difference,to support his composition of the painting is different from the artistic features and laws of the ancient old samples,and sets his own creative practice as the starting point,explores how enjoyable flower-and-bird paintings innovates in the academic art environment,in order to seek the way of flexibility,to adapt the changing environment and the Times of aesthetic culture.His research on the "management position" of Chinese paintings,brought forth new ideas in ancient times,gathered a hundred schools of thought and formed a school of his own on the basis of predecessors,adhered to tradition and tried to be flexible,and made joint efforts in "guarding" and "innovation" no matter on the writing,meaning,conception and aura,which all of them are different with the ancient old samples.The words I quoted here are not improvements or innovations,but adaptations."Poverty leads to change,change leads to prosperity,and the general rule leads to longevity ",which indicates the self-improvement and self-rescue of Chinese painting in the critical moment of life and death,and reflects his inheritance and reverence for the " enjoyable spirit " of traditional Chinese painting.So,I sum up his works on the layout of the law into three principles,namely "theme of choice","frame balance" and "blank background".These three rules of composition can be subdivided into only two or three branches,leading mountains and rivers into flowers and birds,combining poetry,calligraphy,painting and printing,plane division,unitized square,breaking the danger to create momentum,corner scenery,outside pictures,big and heavy stuff,small and light stuff,virtual with real,regard white as black,born wonderful state,a total of nine operating laws,and trying to describe one by one.Fine brushwork and freehand brushwork have their own charm,both traditional Chinese realistic painting and enjoyable flower and bird painting,as long as their composition rules have reasonable operability and sustainable development in the creative practice,can become the guidelines for reference in my creative practice.In this graduation creation,I followed and drew lessons from the three laws of Pan Tianshou on the "management position",combined with flowers and still life from Dutch impressionist painter Van Gogh,the decorative painting of Vienna Secession,Klimt in Austria,oriental classical ikebana art and traditional Chinese still life painting works of later period in the 20 th century,learned painting elements from all of them,present it by the expression technique of Chinese traditional painting.This creation is an active exploration of my painting style as well as expression techniques in the study andpractice of Chinese painting art,as well as a breakthrough attempt in the transition and transformation of my painting language and creation style from tradition to contemporary.
