Research On Tracking Shot Of Documentary

Tracking shot is one of the most common ways to create documentary.Based on a review on theories related to tracking shot,the thesis summarizes this technique's creative trend and completes the creation of the work "Drama Youth" under the guidance of related theories.The research in this article is mainly divided into three parts.Chapter one makes a review on current research status and creative practices of tracking shot at home and abroad to determine research methods and ideas in this thesis.Chapter two discusses the creative trend of tracking shot and regards dramatization trend of documentary as the starting point.This chapter also summarizes general characteristics in creation process and makes discussions from three aspects,including narrative structure,plot arrangement and details' expression.Chapter three is guided by the aforementioned research to illustrate how tracking shot is embodied in various phases of creation process of “Drama Youth”,such as initial topic selection,shooting techniques and post-production process,etc.Meanwhile,reflections on theory when creating works are displayed in chapter three.
