A Study On Can Xue's Criticism Of Calvino

As a representative of the avant-garde,Can Xue's novels are full of exaggeration and absurdity.In the 21 st century,she interpreted the fictions of Italian writer Italo Calvino.These critical texts have entered a deeper stage of Can Xue-style textual criticism.Its unique form and content have broken the model of traditional criticism.The thesis consists of the following five parts.The first part is "Introduction",briefly explaining the origin,background,current situation and significance of the research.Can Xue's novels have been richly interpreted due to absurdity.But she believed the critics were biased.Therefore,she intervened in the literary criticism field,explaining her creative purpose and artistic proposition.The second part is to analyze the content.First,Can Xue controls Calvino's novels from the perspective of the essence of art and its purpose.Secondly,the core structure of artistic creation is soul introspection;again,Can Xue summarizes the "Can Xue style" theory system of artistic creation and consciously constructs the framework of personal literary criticism theory.The third part is to analyze the characteristics.First,her criticism is reflected in the selection of classic texts,and also has the characteristics of rewriting.Secondly,she uses automatic writing to criticize,which has allegorical features in language style.Finally,the text criticism also has the autobiographical nature of unity of spirit and flesh.The fourth part mainly analyzes the context and reasons of criticism.Can Xue's Calvino criticism is full of "Can Xue" interpretation,which is caused by the dual reasons of Can Xue's internal context and the external context of literary criticism.The fifth part is reflection.The criticism has a tendency to be extremely personal and even ignore objective evaluation,which leads to ignoring the real intention of Calvino's novels;at the same time,Calvino's novels are metaphorical,and Can Xue's metaphorical text Interpretation leads to a gap.Finally,it corrects art from the height of philosophy and Chinese tradition,and may give new ideas to the construction of local literary theory.
