In the long history of Chinese classic interpretation,Guo Xiang's Zhuangzi Zhu shows a different interpretative approach from his predecessors. On the one hand,Guo Xiang reforms the traditional method of Confucian classics since Han Dynasty and starts to use a creative classical interpretation method which named by“Ji Yan Chu Yi"(????).On the other hand,Guo Xiang reveals the deep meaning of Zhuangzi and breaks through the original contradiction of text, then further figures out the creativity of text meaning in his interpretation.Guo Xiang's classical interpretation approach inspired ancient and modern scholars' efforts to creatively inheriting traditional thoughts, and promoted the creation of the meaning of classical texts in different time and space backgrounds.Taking "Creative-hermeneutics" as the theoretical approach to research Guo Xiang's view of "Zi Ran",which provides a new perspective for the study of Guo Xiang's philosophy. From this perspective, the formation of Guo Xiang's "Zi Ran"concept is not only formed from personal life experience and philosophical thinking, but also influenced by the ideological trend of Wei and Jin Dynasties, whose central task is to connect Confucianism and Taoism.Although Guo Xiang's view of "Zi Ran"seems to be a "misunderstanding" of "Zi Ran" from Zhuangzi, but in essence it reflects Guo Xiang's view of the metaphysical theme of the relationship between "Zi Ran" and "Ming Jiao",which makes the relationship between Confucianism and Taoism evolve to a new historical height. In the approach of "Creative-hermeneutics" methodology,Guo Xiang's hermeneutic approach to "Zi Ran" can be divided into five progressive levels, which correspond to the methodology of "five predicates"(“??”),that is“Shi Wei"(“??”)"Yi Wei"(“??”)"Yun Wei"(“??”)"Dang Wei"(“??”)and "Bi Wei"(“??”).In the first three levels,Guo Xiang's interpretative work involves the original collation and deletion, the explanation of "Zi Ran" word and the inheritance of "Zi Ran" concept, which paves the way for the realization of theoretical innovation. In the latter two levels,Guo Xiang's unique philosophical view is revealed.Through the deconstruction of "Zi Ran" in Zhuangzi,on the basis of the creation of naturalistic theory of cosmogenesis,he finally constructs an original view of "Zi Ran".The theoretical value of Guo Xiang's view of "Zi Ran" is embodied in the construction of the metaphysical system of the theory of "Du Hua"(“??”),the expansion of the metaphysical theory of Wei and Jin Dynasties, and the construction of the new trend of interpretation of Zhuangzi. In Zhuangzi Zhu,Guo Xiang not only inherits the tenet of Taoism's natural inaction, but also integrates the principle of Confucianism's etiquette and law to govern the world;he realizes the mutual connection of Confucianism and Taoism, and makes contributions to the development of metaphysics.Guo Xiang's interpretation of the view of "Zi Ran" in Zhuangzi helps people break through the original theoretical model to understand "Zi Ran".After Guo Xiang's Zhuangzi Zhu,the interpretation of Zhuangzi in the form of "Ji Yan Chu Yi" gradually evolved into a methodological tradition, which made the Chinese classical interpretation tradition turn to a grand trend.
