In recent years,with the rapid growth of economy and outstanding improvement of international status of China,"Chinese fever" begins to pervade in more and more countries,and the TV programs like Chinese Bridge,a competition for non-native Chinese speakers,are springing up vigorously.The 17 th Chinese Bridge,also known as Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students,has connected a total of 152 contestants from 141 competition areas in 118 countries around the world,covering an extremely wide range of areas.The diversified contestants have also made varied mistakes in their spoken words.Vocabulary,as the building material of language,plays an important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Only by learning vocabulary well can Chinese learners lay a good foundation for their future study.Error analysis plays a significant role in learning second language.Errors can be predicted in advance,corrected in time and improved effectively by error analysis.For the goal that Chinese learners can grasp Chinese vocabulary better,prevent and reduce errors,this article analyzes the errors made by players in oral words who attended the Crossing Bridge Race,the 17 th Chinese Bridge World College Students Chinese Competition.The article divides errors in oral vocabulary,which are collected,into the following sorts:verbs,auxiliaries,adjectives,adverbs,pronouns,conjunctions,quantifiers,nouns and prepositions,and then analyzes errors of the several kinds of words mentioned above on the four main facets of wrong addition,wrong substitution,omission and wrong sequence respectively.After analyzing,the main reasons for errors are as following: Emotional factors,including motivation,personality and anxiety;learning strategies,mainly including native language's reverse migration and target language knowledge ' s reverse migration;communication strategies,mainly including simplification,duplication in retrieving;the lack of Chinese environment.After basically grasping error's type and error's cause of players' oral words,the author offers corresponding advice for students' study and teachers' lecture.The author wants to make contribution for teaching oral Chinese as a foreign language through the study of this article.
