Address Forms Translation From The Perspective Of Eco-translatology

There are many factors influencing address forms.Address forms contain different cultures,emotions and intentions.Address forms are dynamic,which makes the translation of address forms more difficult.The development of Eco-translatology provides new theoretical guidance for address forms translation.Based on Eco-translatology,the thesis takes Lin Yutang's Moment in Peking as the text and Zhang Zhenyu's and Yu Fei's translations as the references,and mainly answers the following three questions: 1)What kind of translation theory does the translator use to guide the translation of address forms in Moment in Peking? When“translator center” is challenged,how to strengthen theoretical supplement to complete address forms translation? 2)How to classify and analyze the address forms in Moment in Peking ? 3)What translation strategies and methods do the two translators adopt to solve the problem of address forms translation? The thesis adopts the method of literature research to know about the literature on address forms and the related literature of Eco-translatology.The descriptive research is adopted to describe the language ecological environment of address forms,so as to make better translation analysis.Comparative research method is adopted to analyze and compare the different translation versions of Lin Yutang's Moment in Peking.It is found that: 1)In the process of adaptation and selection,the translator's choices of address forms are to adapt to the language ecological environment,which solves the dynamic change of address forms translation well,meanwhile,shows thestrong practicability and explanatory ability of ecological translation theory in address forms translation.In the process of translation,when the “translator center” is challenged,Symbiosis Theory is also involved in solving the problem of address forms translation.With the establishment of Ecological Paradigm,Eco-translatology will show great vitality.2)The translation of address forms in Moment in Peking can be classified and analyzed from three dimensions: Language,culture and communication.3)In the process of back translation,Zhang Zhenyu and Yu Fei mostly use the strategy of domestication and transformation method to complete the cultural back translation of address forms.Zhang Zhenyu's translation is closer to modern expression,Yu Fei's translation is closer to the author's original meaning.
