From Daijing Study To Fuchu Study: A Research On Weng Fanggang’s Poetic Origins

The topic of this paper is the poetic origin of Weng Fanggang and Wang Shizhen.It aims to find out the practical connection between Weng Fanggang and Wang Shizhen through the sorting and combing of relevant literature and historical materials.On this basis,it finally rises to the theoretical level to investigate the poetic origin.This paper mainly includes the following three aspects:Firstly,based on the real evidence,sorting out the physical connections between Weng Fanggang and Wang Shizhen in detail.Weng fanggang had seen and obtained a large number of Wang Shizhen’s cultural relics,old collections and writings through long-term seeking,visiting and other indirect ways,which to some extent filled the gap of communication between this two persons due to the age fault,and became an indirect means for Weng Fanggang to approach Wang Shizhen.The circulation and transmission of Wang Shizhen’s handwriting,portraits,old collections and writings not only established a factual connection between Weng Fanggang and Wang Shizhen in terms of material output and reception,but also laid a factual foundation for further theoretical origins in poetics.Secondly,on the basis of literature,this paper studies Weng Fanggang’s acceptance of Wang Shizhen’s writings,including Weng Fanggang’s comments,quotations,collation and interpretation on Wang Shizhen’s writings.In the aspect of poetry,Weng Fanggang has gradually realized the level transformation from reading and learning to responsorial writing and commenting,and kept deepening in the process of three practices of commenting Wang Shizhen’s poems.In terms of literature collation,Weng Fanggang collated and reedited several Wang Shizhen’s works and recompiled Wang Shizhen’s publication bibliography.He also wrote kinds of works to interpret,supplement and refute Wang Shizhen’s writings,which all confirmed Weng Fanggang great efforts and achievements in the process of accepting Wang Shizhen’s writings.In the process of accepting Wang Shizhen’s writings,Weng Fanggang gradually completed the transition from reading perception and learning observation to interventional research and analysis.Thirdly,the poetics origin between Weng Fanggang and Wang Shizhen is discussed theoretically.The theoretical origin of Weng Fanggang’s and Wang Shizhen’s poetics,discussed on the theoretical level,is how Weng Fanggang accepted Wang Shizhen’s poetics and gradually revised,criticized and even departed from it,and finally ran into the "no one in poetry" theory defect.On the premise of recognizing and interpreting Wang Shizhen’s poetics,Weng Fanggang established a reality-oriented poetics path and shifted the focus from the relationship between poetry and emotion to poetry and concrete matters,which is contrary to Wang Shizhen’s poetics.In the aspect of creation theory,Weng Fanggang concretely realized the transformation from enlightenment to rationality,implemented the requirements of rationality control in the beginning,process and results of creation,tried to implement the poetics principle of "reality" to save "emptiness",and tried his best to develop the concept of "reality" to the extreme.However,there are some defects in Weng Fanggang ’s recognition of Wang Shizhen’s poetics,and his texture poetics pays too much attention to the concept of "reality" and neglects personal lyricism,which leads to his failure to solve the defects of Wang Shizhen’s poetics and falls into the pattern of "no one in poetry".
