Due to the special geographical location of Guizhou and the constraints of economic and cultural conditions,it is one of the regions with the most abundant Chinese puppet culture.The Daozhen Gelao and Miao Autonomous County,which is located in the north of Guizhou Province,has given birth to many ethnic and folk cultures with aesthetic concepts due to the influence of its history,ethnicity,and living environment.Among them,Nuo Opera is the most prominent.The Gelao tribe,as one of the minority groups with the most substantial puppet drama resources among the Guizhou ethnic minorities,still retains its original and unique national personality and opera style,and has many aspects including ethnology,folklore,anthropology,and religion.Aesthetic value in the field of subject culture.The Daozhen Gelao people are conservatively feudal due to traffic obstruction and other reasons,and the lack of daily entertainment activities does not sublime their spiritual world.It has formed a religious dependence that asks the gods for blessings in the face of sudden disasters,and enables Daozhen drama Continuous development and survival.Therefore,this article attempts to take DaoZhen Nuo Opera as an example to analyze the manifestation of Gelao culture and art form in Nuo Opera narrative,and to reflect its unique national cultural significance and aesthetic consciousness are the core of the research of this thesis.The aesthetic consciousness of a nation is a stable,long-term and optimized aesthetic spiritual choice formed in the process of adapting to the living environment and habitual lifestyle.Aesthetic consciousness is the fundamental link for the construction and inheritance of nationality,the soul of a nation,and an indispensable factor.I chose to study Daozhen Nuo Opera from the perspective of aesthetic consciousness.Based on the existing research results of Gelao culture,I did not take the Gelao Nuo Opera as the starting point to deeply and systematically study the ethnic culture and belief practices in Nuo Opera narrative.Aesthetic Value.According to the thinking that the ethnic aesthetic consciousness appears in its long ethnic folk culture,this article will discuss the following five aspects:The first chapter,by systematically combing the Gelao culture,highlights the diversity of its folk culture,and presents the aesthetic judgment of Gelao people unconsciously hiding in folk culture.The expression of folk appeals to the Daozhen Nuo drama reflects that the Gelao people’s pursuit of beauty originates from their own aesthetic needs,and then has the aesthetic concept of the artistic life of the Nuo family.The second chapter analyzes the aesthetic activities of the Daozhen Gelao tribe Nuo Opera from the colorful folk events through the presentation of the Gelao folk custom culture in the narration of Daozhen Nuo Opera.Looking at the aesthetic occurrence of Gelao folk etiquette from the ritual procedure,the joyfulness and imagination contained in it are the aesthetic ideals of the life of the people.The third chapter,the aesthetics of transcendence and mystery in Daozhen drama are displayed through the bonding of the aesthetic feeling and religious ritual atmosphere in the Gelao tribe worship.The practical utilitarianism in folk beliefs and the manifestation of the three religions of witch,Taoism,and Buddhism in the narrative of the Daozhen Nuo play highlight the Gelao people’s aesthetic psychology.The fourth chapter analyzes the dramatic expression of Nuo Opera in its narrative behavior through the theatrical theme and mask function of Daozhen Nuo Opera.It discusses that the generation of folk aesthetic images can not be separated from the creative imagination of the people.Folk opera accompanied the Gelao people’s rich emotional activities,embodying the aesthetic significance of symbolic meaning in Daozhen Nuo opera.The fifth chapter,the Daozhen Gelao tribe puppet show uses the drama symbols and performance forms to show unique aesthetic connotation,that is,from the artistic image of the role of puppet show,it reflects the aesthetic characteristics of comedy as beauty;from the puppet narrative of puppet show From the perspective of the mask,it reflects the aesthetic characteristics of mystery as beauty;from the object of the puppet opera aria,it reflects the aesthetic characteristics of simplicity and beauty;from the content of the performance of the puppet drama,it embodies the sublime beauty of beauty.The uniqueness of Gelao tribe’s aesthetic consciousness indicates that Gelao tribe is a ethnic group with tenacious vitality,pursuit of harmony,good at learning and acceptance,and its vitality is preserved because of its ethnic characteristics.The Daozhen Nuo play intuitively reflects the unique aesthetic consciousness of this ethnic group.With the gradual increase of the country’s protection of intangible cultural heritage,I hope that through such research,it will promote the protection and inheritance of the Daozhen Gelao ethnic culture,and provide a reference for the value of the Daozhen Nuo opera.
