The compilation of the magnum opus of North Song Dynasty geography records is very large.Among them,Taiping Huanyuji,Yuanfeng Jiuyuzhi, and Yudi Guangji belong to the Northern Song Dynasty and Yudi Jisheng and Fangyu Shenglan belong to the Southern Song Dynasty.Shu Road in the traditional sense mainly refers to the road that crosses the Qinling Mountains from the Guanzhong Plain, passes through the Hanzhong Basin, and then crosses the Daba Mountain to the Chengdu Plain. The main roads include "North Four,South Three" including the Old Road, the Baoxie Road, the Tangluo Road, the Ziwu Road, the Jinniu Road, the Micang Road and the Lizhi Road, mainly covering Chengdu Fu Road,Zizhou Road,Lizhou Road and Yinzhou Road, which are under the Song Dynasty administrative division. In these five Geographical books,a large number of precious historical materials such as mountains and rivers, flora and fauna, places of interest, monuments, and monuments in the prefectures and counties to which Shu Road Line belongs are preserved.By observing and comparing the various types of tables drawn, the descriptions of the five books can be discussed in terms of style and content. In the style, the five books describe the construction history of each state. The other four books also separately described the history of the construction of counties under states, except for Fangyu Shenglan.Among the five books, only Taiping Huanyuji,Yuanfeng Jiuyuzhi, and Fangyu Shenglan provide a brief account of the local produce of state;Taiping Huanyuji,Yudi Jisheng, and Fangyu Shenglan discuss the mountains, rivers, and places of interest in states and counties in detail, but the two books of the Southern Song Dynasty classified the columns of Mountains and Ancient Monuments. In the overall comparison of the five books, the two books in the Southern Song Dynasty have the most similarities. The content described in Fangyu Shenglan is basically included in the Yudi Jisheng, but it cannot be denied that Fangyu Shenglan is more concise and easy to find.In terms of content,Yuanfeng Jiuyuzhi of Northern Song Dynasty focused on the economy,Yudi Guangji focused on politics, and Taiping Huanyuji focused oneconomics, politics, and local customs.Yudi Jisheng of Southern Song Dynasty focused on politics, local attractions and local culture,Fangyu Shenglan focused on local attractions and local culture. From the comparison of the content and the system,it is found that the number of places of interest in the counties and counties of Shu Road is inversely proportional to the number of abandonment of their roads, and the number of mountains and rivers is directly proportional to the abandonment of their roads. In short, through the description of the states and counties along the Shu Road in the five major geographical general records of the Song Dynasty,we can conduct a comparative study of the compilation of the five major general historical records, and further understand the abandoned use, severity, and tourism value of the Shu Road,it has important significance.
