Research On The Color Of Tujia Brocade In The Western Part Of Hunan

The Brocade of Tujia is an extremely ancient folk craft in western Hunan.It is the most representative traditional culture of Tujia and has a long history.As a fabric produced by the Tujia people in their social labor,the Tujia brocade is closely related to people's lives.It is an indispensable item for major weddings,sacrifices and other major festivals.In recent years,people have paid more and more attention to Chinese traditional colors.Whether in the domestic or international fashion arena,you can see the use of Chinese traditional colors,and the Tujia brocade perfectly reflects the characteristics of Chinese traditional colors.On the one hand,the Tujia brocade is located in the remote and rugged Wuling Mountain area,and is less affected by foreign cultures.Its simple folk customs and native culture are well preserved.On the other hand,the Tujia brocade has inherited the five elements and five colors system of our country very well,which is a combination of traditional thought and art in China.The color system of the Tujia brocade is full of the spiritual beliefs and aesthetic consciousness of the Tujia people.It represents the ethnic cultural genes and consensus of the Tujia,and has unique ethnic cultural connotations and artistic characteristics.Studying the colors of the Tujia brocade is conducive to digging,sorting and protecting the traditional culture of the Tujia,enriching the research fields of the Tujiabrocade,improving the theoretical system of the color of the Tujia brocade,enabling the outside world to have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the Tujia brocade,and further promoting the inheritance and development of the Tujia brocade.The thesis makes an in-depth analysis and arrangement of the colors of Tujia brocade from the multidisciplinary perspectives of art design,anthropology,folklore,etc.First of all,through literature research,field investigation and other methods to sort out the historical origin,distribution area,dyeing and weaving materials and technological processes of Tujia brocade,and analyze the color evolution process of Tujia brocade according to different historical periods.On this basis,from the aspects of life,art,culture,emotions,skills and so on,Tujia brocade's color concept,color emotion awareness and color skill factors are elaborated in detail.In addition,through the induction method and the comparison method,the collected Tujia brocade patterns are classified according to different themes.Using new digital technology,the color values of the Tujia brocades are sequentially extracted according to the theme type.And based on its color distribution data analysis and summary of the common colors of Tujia brocade,matching rules and their functions and applications in different folk activities.At the same time,the colors of Tujia brocade and other folk tapestry are compared horizontally and vertically,and the similarities and differences areanalyzed.Finally,a questionnaire was used to investigate and analyze people's identification with the colors of the Tujia brocade,the colors popular with the public and their matching methods,and combined with the data,put forward suggestions for color heritage of the Tujia brocade.The colors of the Tujia brocade recorded the comprehensive features of the ancient folk legends,social forms,folk beliefs,ideological concepts,and aesthetic consciousness of the Tujia,reflecting the unique artistic style and ethnic characteristics of the Tujia brocade.It is these unique features that make the Tujia brocade become a cultural symbol that distinguishes other ethnic groups and adds endless ethnic style to our traditional culture.
